About the Project

Canvas of Hope is a social initiative geared towards increasing access to creative opportunities for students from marginalized communities. We hope to enhance this demographic’s social and emotional well-being through a targeted approach. In this vein, we are organizing a series of expert-led workshops at an NGO, through which students can learn about the scope of creative careers, including sculpting, painting, and design. We are in the process of curating an activity book to encourage students to engage in creative self-expression through journaling and drawing. Finally, we will organize a virtual fundraising event to support NGO in their efforts to promote creative self-expression in adolescents from underserved communities.
